Versailles en famille
My husband Roland and I, Elisabeth, live near Versailles and Paris. For over thirty years we have been opening our home to visitors coming from around the world. Roland is a retired consulting engineer.
His interests include history, world economics. Romanesque architecture is one of his passions. I enjoy teaching and sharing my culture in all its aspects. I love reading too and decorating my home. I am very fond of music. I love cooking for my family and my guests. My husband and I love going to the cinema, to concerts, and exhibitons. We will be delighted to chat with you.
Outside of your lessons or cultural activities, we will compare our ways of life, perhaps go see a film together. We will help you make good use of your spare time. We live in Noisy-le-Roi, near Versailles, in a nice apartement which has been completely renovated.
Consult our programs If you wish, it is possible to organize a mixed program “à la carte” with some
elements of each of the two above programs in a combination of your choosing.

I will be your personal French tutor as you study French and live “à la française” within our family, in a comfortable apartment with a nurturing environment.
I will inspire, encourage and guide you to communicate with confidence and ensure that your learning experience is enjoyable, satisfying and rewarding.
We will be your personal guides in different places we offer you to visit with us, giving you an insider’s view of the region.
These different tours can be conducted in French or English. After a day of cultural experience, you will return to your homestay base where you can relax and enjoy a delicious meal “en famille”.
I also offer an online French course program. Classes are done via Skype. Each lesson lasts one hour (60 minutes). You can chose the number of hours that suits you in a minimum of 5 sessions. We will decide together about the schedule and the content according to you needs.
