Versailles en famille
Homestay accommodation is an integral part of our French immersion homestay program. Our apartment is on ground floor of a building built in the 1960s, in the heart of a beautiful, quiet tree-lined residence. It is located in a small town near Versailles.
We bought and remodeled it according to our taste, but in keeping with the French tradition. It is beautifully decorated with antique furniture which has been passed down in our families. You will be very comfortably installed in a bedroom with an en suite bathroom, completely private. Your room has a king size bed which can be turned into two beds. It can accomodate two people (friends or a couple) who have registered for our programs together.
Just a few steps from our apartment, a bus takes you directly to Versailles or Saint-Germain-en-Laye in 25 minutes. From Versailles, Paris can be reached in 45 minutes..
Students staying more than a week are welcome to extend their stay with us over the weekend and have breakfast and dinner at no extra charge. Our house is a non-smoking house.

The price will vary according to the number of participants and the chosen activities.
10 % discount for stays of 4 weeks or more.
5 % discount for stays in November, December, January and February.

To finalize your reservation on one of our programs please print, complete and send your registration form to the address below.
A deposit of 20% of the program cost (see the “Pricing” page) is due at the time of booking. The balance due must be sent at least 15 days before the start of the stay. Payments can be made by the following means:
1) A foreign draft in euros drawn on a French bank made payable to Elisabeth Dol and sent to: Élisabeth Dol

Bank transfer information will be sent to you after we receive your enrollment form.
Students are responsible for any bank charges incurred when sending a foreign draft or when using a bank transfer for payment . Those charges are above and beyond the prices stated on the pricing page.
Enrollments are registered in the order in which they are received.
Enrollment for a course takes effect from the date on which the Enrollment Form is received and account payment. The balance payment must arrive at Versailles-en-Famille at least 15 days before the start of the course (unless otherwise specified or agreed).
In case of cancellation the deposit paid is not refundable. We will however endeavor to offer the student a homestay placement on another date for which a further deposit will not be required.
Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund less the deposit.
Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days prior to the start of the course wil receive a 50% refund less the deposit. In case of cancellation less than 15 days before the beginning of the course, the course fee is not refundable. The presence of students at the Versailles en Famille’s premises implies their acceptance of our household rules which includes no smoking in the house.
Please note: We recommend that students take out personal insurance to cover the cost of cancellation of their course and to cover any accidents, illnesses, thefts, etc.
